Please help - I need some data regarding the best-in-class /most effective amount of time to respond to a "Contact Us" or other web inquiry, to optimize lead conversion. At the Sales Leadership conference in Chicago this past April, I remember hearing many speakers talk about the need to respond much faster than ever before. It seems like an immediate response may be best? I heard someone say within 2 minutes, others say, within a day. I'm in great need of some data to prove what the best response time is. I especially need to help my colleagues not feel that it's too "big-brother'ish" if we respond immediately, or soon thereafter. Does anyone have some data and the source regarding this topic? Thank you.
