I'm trying to determine if a sales rep who is about to miss his sales quota should get an "extension". The rep was away at a trade show (on behalf of the company) for a week and is in jeopardy of missing his 4 week cycle minimum sales quota. Should I have a provision in my comp document that addresses time away (PTO, Company Event, etc.) and the affect on sales quota?
