The Mentor Program: For Protégés

The Emblaze Mentor Program connects Inside Sales Professionals seeking career advice, support and/or guidance with experienced sales leaders willing to share their knowledge and insight.

Emblaze protégés are made up of Inside Sales Professions of all levels. Each shares a commitment and passion for their careers and our profession. Through the Mentor relationship you have the opportunity to share your business challenges, issues, and fears with a more experienced sales leader who has first-hand knowledge of what you are experiencing and wants to share their knowledge.

Mentors are available for protégés all levels - everyone from Representatives to Frontline Managers, to Directors and VP's are eligible to participate and will be matched accordingly.*

How it Works

The Emblaze Mentor Program is open to Professional and Corporate level members and allows for mentors/protégés to connect on a regular basis to discuss those specific areas that are the most important to the protégé's development.

Protégés initiate the process by submitting their application. A 15 minute introductory call is conducted with any perspective Mentors. During the call the protégé's goals, needs, desires and the associated experience and interests of the Mentor is discussed. Once the protégé completes all their introductory calls they make their final selection and submit a Request to Establish a Relationship at which point the selected Mentor has the option to accept or reject the protégé request. Also note the protégé or mentor has the option to remove themselves from consideration at any point, if they feel for any reason that it's not a good fit.

Once a Mentor has been selected and a relationship has been established the first mentor/protégé call is scheduled within one week.

Who Should Participate?

The Emblaze Mentor Program is open to Professional and Corporate members of all levels. Anyone looking to advance their career, get added insight, or talk to a more experienced sales profession about an issue or challenge, can gain value from participating in the Emblaze Mentor Program.

Protégé Eligibility and Requirements

The Emblaze Mentor program is available needed for Inside Sales Professionals of all levels - everyone from Representatives to Frontline Managers, to Directors and VP's are invited to participate. Mentors are matched according to the Protégé's experience and interests.

To be considered to be a Protégé, you must:

• Complete the online application and submit for review and approval
• Be an Emblaze Professional or Corporate level member in good standing
• Have a current Inside Sales related role
• Prepare to meet minimally, once a quarter for up to 1 hour, by phone with your Mentor
• Reply to Mentors requests and inquires in a timely manner
• Agree to maintain protégé's privacy
• Agree to a limit of 1 Mentor at any one time
• Agree to complete Bi-Annual Satisfaction Surveys
• Adhere to the Mentor Program guidelines, principles, and intentions
• Engage with Mentors in an open, honest, ethical, and professional manner and with the interest of gaining advice and guidance to help advance your careers
