AA-ISP Montreal Chapter: Meet the Women Making an Impact in Sales & Business Development Leadership

Event Description:

Unfortunately, sales and business development are professions where women have been traditionally under-represented, but we're seeing things shifting for the better as more and more women are entering the field and achieving tremendous results.

As a result of this positive trend, we want to bring the Montreal sales community together to hear from 3 of Montreal's top female sales and business development leaders from 3 of Montreal's top companies.

Panelists:

Valentina De Castris: Director of Strategic Partnerships (Dialogue)

  • Valentina is the Director of Partnerships at Dialogue, where she is responsible for developing and building strategic channel partnerships across the country. Before joining in 2017, Valentina was a corporate lawyer at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg where she acted for Canadian and foreign clients on various public and private mergers and acquisitions as well as public debt and equity offerings. Valentina holds Civil Law and Common Law degrees from the University of Montreal, and is a member of the Quebec bar. She also holds a Bachelor in Commerce from McGill. At Dialogue, Valentina and her team are working towards to improve Canadians’ physical and mental health and wellbeing by removing barriers to high quality care.     

Rose FrancoisManager, Business Development/Strategic Partnerships (GSoft/Officevibe)

  • A seasoned people-manager with over 15 years of experience, Roselande Francois currently leads the Business Development & Strategic Partnership team at Officevibe where she specializes in helping companies around the world bring the best out of their people by building happier, healthier workplaces. Passionate about coaching and mentoring emerging talent in the workforce, Rose applies a personalized, results-oriented approach within her team to build confidence and leadership alongside practical experience.

Shruti Maheshwari: Manager, Sales Development (Lightspeed)

  • Shruti currently heads the Global Sales Development/Demand Generation team at Lightspeed HQ, with teams in Montreal, Amsterdam, London and Ghent. She has 4 years of experience managing young professionals in a fast paced technology sales environment. Shruti also helped establish the outreach program at Women in Tech World to help gather funds for research on Canadian women in the tech space. Shruti is a McGill University Alum, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Finance.

Our event will be hosted by Ashley Logan (Lightspeed)

  • Ashley is a Training Consultant at Lightspeed, where she is responsible for developing strategies for ongoing training projects that impact the global Learning & Development needs of employees. For the past 6 + years, she has been delivering the North American Product and Sales Training, equipping the go-to-market teams with a customer centric approach to selling. Prior to Lightspeed, Ashley worked at CAE, developing training programs for pilots, sensor operators and maintenance crews on a broad range of military aircraft platforms. She holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Queen’s University and a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from Concordia.

Ashley will be steering the evening's discussion and uncovering who these leaders are and what has led to their success.
